Hello Kim and i have started street tuning according to the hondata articles. I have also read through Greg Benish's " Fuel Injection Systems " book. He says the Stoichometery of E-10 (93 octane w/ 10 % ethanol) is 14.2, so that's what I'm going off. I'm a little worried about tuning for 14.2 as it might seem rich, someone give me a reason not to. *seriously please...*
I want to know if we are on the right track. Please take a look at our stuff, and tell me what you think, I'm open to any kind of criticism.
we have a 1993 honda civic with an jdm gsr engine. All motor w/ obx r stepped header. Stock internals, same head-gasket from japan, 5 K miles since i got it.
Just bought this s300 from a buddy and its a p28 w/ s300. And have just been going nutz since i got it. I do have iab's hooked up to acc, and working :)
In the image included Shows our progress, are we on the right track? I just want to tune low cam, and high cam, make a vtec point and call it good for a while but so far me and my gf are 10-15 hours of road time tuning, and we don't want to burn more gas if we are doing it all wrong. Thanks for looking!
Also i tried the braking technique, its lame, do i need 9-10, or can i rich them out say the same as column 8?...

You look like your on the right track. your doing well loading the cells. hitting 8 and 9 are sometimes hard and sometimes never happen.
try this tune your column 7 like you have before. then tune your wide open throttle col 10. highlight all cells between 7-10 and hit the interpolate button once. see if it cleans it out. the more you hit the button it sometimes distorts.
as long as your af's are right in the 2 different columns you can just make sure you have a smooth transition on columns 8 and 9. as far as your 93 with ethanol it will probably need to be richer because the ethanol. regular 93 stoich will be 14.7 and e85 stoich is 9.7! So this is your call. i would check plugs for signs of detention to be safe.
Now a question for you. how did you run down each column 6 and 7 so well. i have done the breaking method but could never get it to be in either column 6 or 7 under 1k rpm on the street. can you give me a step by step run down as that is a flawless column load cell run!

We were on a 5- 10 mph roll and as soon tell my girl to hit record , I'd already be in 2nd or 3rd, then punch it to 25% to 30 % tps, and make the tps climb expodentioaly almost up too or at 40-75 %( depends on column 6-8 ) by the time I'm done. She tell me when I hit 5100 ( tuning go low cam ) ae stops recording and I pull out of gear (we turn around or slow back down to fill in the other columns never save too many datalogs, just pictures of the final filled out map) :) 9-10 are ridiculous. I've only gotten a blip of lamba @ like 3200 Rpms . Tried going up steep hill tried 1st 100% tps off the line . Pulling the e brake and tried to make the loads high, no good. Same with using the pedal technique to maybe push vacuum around, no good. Guesstimates interpolations and smoothing I think will get me there :) again thanks for the input!
I included an old datalog of us filling some of 7 and 8, to show ya how mine tps climbed.
