primary O2 in a K20A2 racecar; is it needed?

Post by d15b7 »

hello; i am new to this OBD-II stuff; i have swapped in a K20A2 into my EG (am finishing it this week); i was wondering if the primary O2 is required to make the car run right, or can it be disabled and the car run directly off the maps/tables? this is a racecar only; never run on the street, so emissions is of no concern...... oh, and i have just received a K-pro'd ecu this morning, and have been busy reading and installing the software!

thanx alot for the info!

thanx for the info! so i don't need the O2 at all for the racecar. if i disable the OBD-II functions in K-Pro, then i won't get a O2 generated check engine light, will i?

thanx again, and looking forward to racing this beast!
