Advise needed

Post by apiegapie »

HI guys,

well got a kpro for quite some time, did 2 streetmaps with people. Still i think there are things to be done on it.
So looking for advise or maybe a different kal? Keto06 i know u are the man around here :)

got some logs down here.
there is one kal file which is the lastest one that has been made, that one was also used before modified on the dynosheet, the red line.
the 2 dyno pulls are done on a dynostar also attach the dyno sheet.

Those dyno logs kinda worried me. Luckily it looks like you cleaned up the AFR once you settled on your VTEC point. Though based on that 3rd gear log, Id add some fuel in there, Especially closer to redline. Some people like to be right around 13.5:1. I prefer to be closer to 13:1. The power difference is negligible and you avoid spikes to 14:1. 13.5 is fine on the low cam.

I assume that your car liked the lower point, since you kept it at 3200. I think if you would have worked with the low cam angles a bit, you may be able to raise it back up, but if you like it at 3200, by all means, enjoy.

Overall its not a bad map, but Id like to see a part throttle log with a 3rd gear pull or two in the log.

can check for a partial log yeah, will do that at some point. 3200 vtec is quite nice, since cruising a lot it's quite handy.
as long as i don't do any harm to the engine i'm fine with it.
thks for your feedback, any other suggestions at this point??
