Losing Connectivitiy randomly

Every now and then I lose connectivity, and the light on the hondata doesnt even come on. I can usually fix it by cutting the car off and then back on, but sometimes even then the light will just flash. I have seen this on multiple ecus with multiple hondata boxes. Is there a known issue, or what are we doing wrong?

i also have this problem... unfortunately sometimes it happens while i am about to shift into 2nd gear at the strip.

what happens is it feels like the car hit a rev limiter and the CEL/SHIFT LIGHT just comes on... as stated before it will go away if the car is turned off... and no codes stay in the system to be pulled... it's crazy

I have also run into this problem with a couple cars. This is what seemed to work.....Make sure the ECU and interface box are securely mounted, and nothing hits it!!! Also check the wires from the interface box and ECU, the terminal ends were not crimped to the wires very well, so I removed them from the plug and re-crimped them better and slightly bent the tab that makes contact with the pins in the ECU and interface box. Haven't had problems since.
