VTEC Window

Post by roland »

What is the maximum pressure we can input into the VTEC window lower boundary?

In my experience, using K-Manager 1.5.1 (and 1.4.5) it will truncate any values greater than 102kpa to 102, but another tuner / K-Manager user said his software allows him to enter 150.

I first tried this using a calibration that was initially built in 1.4.5, but I also tested a new calibration after upgrading to 1.5.1. Either way 102kpa is the max for me.

What is the intended behavior?

The ECU can only cope with pressure up to atmospheric (around 102 kPa).

Thanks. That seems like a strange limitation considering that the stock MAP sensor will read up to 175 kPa give or take...

Any comment on the ability to enter 150kpa? Possibly a bug in previous version?
