to start off when i first got the car it ran perfect with the s300
then it started doing this thing were in 2nd gear it vibrates and stops after i shift into 3rd, when i get on it the car pulls harder in 3rd and 4th then it does in 1st and 2nd... which before it did not do
then the air fuel ratios jump all around when cruising it jumps from 10:1 to 12:1
and when i get on it wont read any higher then 12:1 (which is sort of rich isnt it?)
i did have a broken prong on my old speedo sensor so i replaced that
then i started looking at things in smanager that the guy who previously owned the car did
i noticed the gear ratios selected were wrong so i chose the correct ones and was curious about that recalculate gear option i assumed that i would need to use it since the gear ratios were wrong how exactly do you go about doing that?
and when i scale the tps the lower one jumps around from -2.85 to like -2.6
here is a datalog and my tune can somebody please take a look plzzzz

Re: p28 s300 b16b issues
fixed the TPS but my RPMs in sManager are still off at 4000rpms on the tach Smanager reads at 3800
Re: p28 s300 b16b issues
This is just the behaviour of the tach in your vehicle, it is actually inaccurate. The datalogged values are correct.
Re: p28 s300 b16b issues
whats the deal with recalculating the gear? the selected ratios were wrong so i fixed it

Re: p28 s300 b16b issues
one more thing my A/F is reading from the o2 sensor
and those arent good for tuning at all right?
i was wondering if that reading the o2 sensor like it was a wideband would affect the car any

Re: p28 s300 b16b issues
The stock O2 sensor is a narrowband and cannot be used for tuning. YOu must use a wideband sensor and controller to be able to read AF.
Re: p28 s300 b16b issues
i noticed under cloosed loop it says wideband input source but since i do not have a wideband should that be turned off somehow? the input source at the moment is selected as d14 the o2 sensor... would that hurt anything at all? a couple months ago the AF just stayed blank but then i guess with the software update they added that selection to cloosed loop right? now the A/F and wideband voltage on the sensor list run... is there some way to turn that off?
Re: p28 s300 b16b issues
If you dont' have it checked then it will not try to use a wideband for closed loop. With closed loop enabled it will use the stock O2 sensor to try and keep it at stoic or whatever setting you have in the calibration.
Re: p28 s300 b16b issues
oh alrite does it mean anything if o2 voltage is jumping around very eratically?
