k pro possibly fried or just the ecu?

Post by rolintilltheend »

so i got my eg running today i have a k20a2 in it. pnf ecu with k pro installed. installed the jumper harness and grounded a7 (green/yellow wire) to get the fuel pump to prime. everything worked and car started drove it down the street and it died. now when i turn the key on the fuel pump doesnt prime and the check engine doesnt flash as it would in a eg when you first turn the key. i tried 3 different main relays and still nothing. checked all fuses. i have the ground for the engine harness on the stud on the valve cover and another ground from the ac compressor to the frame of the car. is that enough grounds? could that have caused an issue to fry the ecu?

Try the ECU in a known good vehicle. You probably have something wired incorrectly and it may have damaged the ECU.
