Possibility to include Secondary Air Injection Delete?

Hey,

I was wondering if it would be possible to include an option in the next update of FlashPro Manager to delete the Secondary Air Injection systems used on EDM S2000's with out throwing a CEL?
I know AEM have encorporated this into their engine management system and was wondering if it could be done with FlashPro?
This would allow us to run a wider range of intercooler set-ups for our supercharged and turbo'd cars as all the air pump etc is situated down at the front left of the front bumper (currently limiting area's we can route our intercooler pipework).

2006 onwards US vehicles do not have an air pump. If the Euro S2000 has this pump, unplug it and tell us what error code(s) you get.

yes, Euro 2006+ S2000 has this pump.
i will try and let you know.

actually i have now CEL 1412 which is not documented in US Honda service manual.
according to UK s2ki wizards it's related to air pump relay - so i ordered one and waiting for it to arrive.
currently air pump doesn't work.
so you might want to check this error code too.

this CEL started immidiately after reflash new tune with FPM 1.8.2.
i actually thought it might be FPM related because this is too much of the coincidence and we pulled the current relay out and looks good.
any chance that adding Boost control to FPM messed something for Euro s2k?

looking at this Honda's guide it looks like A31.

hello,

i recently upgraded my FPM version from 1.1.7.4 to 1.1.8.5 and uploaded my final calibration to the car which is a 2006 EDM S2000.

i immediately received a CEL as P1412. i guess this is related with secondary air injection system. i have never received such a CEL during my uploads with FPM 1.1.7.4.

does Hondata think that it is related with the latest version of FPM?

i am using a test pipe. i think it will be very valuable to have secondary air injection delete feature in FlashPro.

you're the 3rd person who reports here exactly the same issue (Euro S2000 + 1.1.8.5 FPM) - so it's probably caused by FPM.

Hondata, when do you think you will have fix for this?

however, please note that latestes version not only upgrades FPM but also firmware of the FlashPro hardware. so i would like to ask Hondata if previous release rollback is possible?

I'm the other person that has highlighted this issue on this forum.
I've now had my car professionally tuned and the guy tuning it said he tried to use the older revision software that doesn't have this problem and it wouldn't work.
Looks like we will have to wait for hondata to fix this issue.

Another problem that I came across with the beta release was when I was data logging the afr would show that my car was heavily over fueling, but when the dyno age readings were done the car was actually running lean.

i tried to rollback but it didn't help - probably because Flashpro device firmware doesn't foll back when you use older FPM software.
