Surging at idle -bug in S300 Software

This is the second time i have encountered this. Driving to work just before getting off the freeway throw it in neutral and coast for 50 yards and once i come to a stop the idle drops to 400 and back up to 900 and continues to do so every time i come to a complete stop. Driving the car everything feels fine just issue at idle. Full tune no CEL, No FITV, M&W so no ICM, and IAC is fine. All it takes is turning off the car and turning it back on. Not sure why it would do this but I'm not the only one as another buddy with S300 confirmed he has this problem time to time. Running 1.4.8 and its solid with the exception of this problem which has happened 3 times in the last year.

It's not easy to duplicate so i don't have a log to post. Tune probably wont do any good either. I suspect there is a bug in the software which throws the ECU in some infinite loop trying to get the car to idle steady after some state. A simple restart of the ECU resolves the problem.

Without a datalog showing the problem it is impossible to say what it might be.

I suspected you might say that. It is impossible to duplicate the problem so maybe ill upgrade to the new software once a non beta is released
