Immobilzer required for K-Pro?

I bought a k20a2 motor, and it came with the ecu, but not a key or immobilizer. It will be going into a full tube-frame car, and will be a completely stand alone application. When ordering, Hondata says to include the ecu, key, and immobilizer together. I know that the immobilizer can be bypassed with k-pro, but can I still use my existing unit, or will I need to buy a new ECU? I need to have the immobilizer bypassed, but would just like to make sure before I place an order for the wrong thing.

You do not need the immobilizer with the programmable ECU.
