Kpro is Offline - Cannot Communicate with Laptop

- K-Pro S/N 05000565 (off the daughter board)
- K-Manager 1.4.1
- 2003 RSX-S
- Stock Engine - with I/H/E (custom tune)
- Win XP and Win 7

I haven't had to touch my Kpro in over 4 years, but last month decided to to upload a base map back into it. Yesterday, I am no longer able to put back in my custom tune. After connecting the USB and turning the Ignition to II (and hearing the fuel pump prime), the Upload arrow is still greyed out.

I've tried with two different laptops, both with K-Manager 1.4.1. Under Device Manager, the KPro ECU does not show up, although if I update the USB and test USB, it says both were done successfully. I've rebooted, tried installing and uninstalling K-Manager and even installing the latest beta K-Manager. My ECU has worked with both these laptops before.

Please help.

With the USB cable plugged in, what does the K-Pro show up as in the Windows Device Manager (and what section)?

x2 i had this problem i could upload the file as soon the car runs the k-pro went offline than i try to turn off the car and try to get back online it wont. had this happen to anyone??? i try both my friends k-pro had no problems with it
