FlashPro manager TROJAN

Post by gasss_85 »

Hello,

what is this file for?
is-8U47D.tmp

The NOD32 4 finds this file as a Win32/Injector.DQS trojan

Screen capture attached :?

The NOD32 4 also stops the program download as it finds other (or the same) problem: Win32/Injector.DQS trojan

Why do you do this?
The first point to make is that there is no virus. Both the main applicatation executables (eg KManager.exe) and the installation executable (eg KManager-1-2-4.exe) have digital certificates signed by Hondata. If the files are altered in any way then the certificates are marked as invalid. If you are unsure as to whether our software contains a virus, then right click on the file, access 'Digital Signatures' then click on 'Hondata Inc'. It should mention 'The digitial signature is ok'. If any single bit of the file is altered, then it will say 'The digital signature is invalid'.
What happens if I do not restore that file that the NOD32 4 found as a virus? :?

Why do we digitally sign the files? So you know they are from Hondata and unmodified.

You'll need to the temp file from the update download and/or install.

Why should we need to restore the temp file or reinstall it? What will happen if we don't restore this file?
The Hondata Flash Pro Manager starts with no issues.

Thanks.

The temp file was the partial file from the download. I recommended downloading and re-installing, to make sure that your AV has not deleted anything vital during the process.
