PWM not working

Post by eg6baby »

Hello all. I got a P28 with s300 running a MAC solenoid. I got everything hooked up right and yes I do have the components soldered in right. I have a 12v on switch running to one wire and the other to pin A11. Nothing seems to work so after troubleshooting a bit, I found I was getting 12V out of pin A11. WTF! What would cause it to do that? I know its it suppose to get a grounded of the ECU right? Trying to fix this asap as I am scheduled for a tune tomorrow. Thanks in advance!

Post current calibration

Are you getting 12v at A11 when the solenoid is disconnect from the ECU?

Thanks for the reply AREA876. With the ignition off, nothing on A11. When ignition on, and 12v to solenoid connected, there is 12V to the A11. Whit ignition and 12V source to solenoid is disconnected, no 12V at A11. Only when the 12V switch on is connected then there is 12V at A11. I hope I made sense there. Here is the cal I am running right now. Thanks for the help! :D

Under boost control set your control method to fix duty cycle, and take note of boost levels while you increase fix duty cycle. From these note you can then fill out your pressure vs duty cycle table. The reason you have 12v at A11 is because the ECU hasn't turn on the solenoid yet so the voltage is not flowing.
