Hey guys, I am having an error with a friends car I am trying to flash.
We install the unit to the car, go through all the processes (register the flashpro w hondata, enter owner info, etc.)
Select the ECU and calibration -> and as we go to upload the calibration to the flashpro we get this message:
"Could not upload to the FLashpro. Check that you have the latest software version from the Hondata Website."
Well...everything is already up to date. I flashed my own car with my own flashpro less than 2 weeks ago, so naturally this makes no sense to me. What am I missing here? I used the help feature on the FP manager but everything I am using is current and up to date.
One bit I should add: When we first purchased the Flashpro even though it was marked for Honda S2000 when we went to lock the Fpro to the vehicle it said it was for a Civic. :( The vendor ended up taking the unit back to Hondata and getting it sorted out, could this pose a potential problem? Not sure what to do here but this is frustrating. Put a huge hamper in my friends plans tonight and to say the least, we were both pretty dissapointed.
Any help is appreciated, we just want this to properly work. Thanks in advance.
Unable to upload Calibrations to Flashpro?
You will need to use the beta software version. See http://www.hondata.com/forum/viewtopic.php?p=53925
