does the s300 bypass anything over a stock ecu by default?

Post by DOHCAccord »

Im trying to fix a car i picked up, 99 hatch with a h22 swapped in it. the car has high impedance injectors, obd1 and will only run on my other cars s300. it will not run on a p13 that came with it. my car has a h22 as well with dsm 450cc and a resistor box. the p13 and my s300 both run my car just fine. the only thing thats different is the injectors and resistor box. but from what i know low impedance need a resistor box and high impedance do not. so is there something in the s300 that is different or bypassing something to make the civic run vs the stock p13?

thought about the injector size?

if the P13 isn't tuned appropriate, the car won't run at all.

tune it, have fun with it.

thats been a thought, but im loading the map as 310cc injectors and it runs perfectly, and i find that h22 injectors are 310 to 345, either way the ecu should run them
