number 1 showing 100 knock count

Post by terryl »

Hi just thought i would try my new flash pro out and do a data log on my standard euro 2008 s2000, it reads 100 knock count on number 1 cylinder straight from firing it up and keeps the reading the whole data log - no knock on any other cylinder - showing some knock retard as well in places - is this normal ?

Thanks .....

You must post the calibration and a datalog showing the problem.

Go to online, and click on clear DTCs, then start datalogging and keep datalogging while starting the car. Send that datalog to us

It appears you have not uploaded using the most recent version of software. Upload your calibration to the ECU using the most recent beta version of our software from the website and then when you datalog you will not see the incorrect knock count.

Hi,
same problem for me.
Euro S2000 2007.
Got the Euro Flashpro and used the lastest software version that you have on site (1.1.7.4).
I didn't flashed the ECU yet - but locked on ECU and collected logs.

Knock count is constant 100 and stays the same after ignition/engine off.

pls help.

Thanks,
Gennady

1.1.6.7 was the beta at the time and this cured it from the previous software - i am guessing - but i think they may have left the cure out in the latest release ? hondata are very helpful so they will sort the issue out im sure - for now i will stop on old soft ware :)

Cheers Terry

Ps Go TURBO - awesome car now

i actually have 1.1.6.7 installation EXE that i downloaded at last December.

i'm just not sure that i can use it as Flashpro box upgrades itself with a new software - so maybe it's not OK to downgrade it.

let's see what's Hondata will say.

thx anyway !!!

p.s. had turboed miata in the past but i like S2000 as it is :)
and it's already too fast for local roads...
