Knock problem, advice needed.

Post by Accord03 »

I am running the K-pro on a supercharged k24a4. It has been dyno tuned but the tuner stated he turned off the knock count because it was too high to be real knock. The counts were always 500+ per run. I was outside of the vehicle and could not hear any knock so we left it at that.

Its been over a year now and I have noticed that if I go uphill I hear a rattling noise inside the cabin. I datalogged and pulled timing again and again. Its about -20 degrees of timing from the initial tune. I have noticed that the rattling is no longer present in the cabin and the knocks dropped down from 2000+ to about 300 for this stretch of uphill roads.

Do I keep on pulling ignition until knock is gone? The car feels sluggish at that point now. Am I doing it right?

Somethign in that datalog is wrong, it says you are going over 100mph. Since we never offered a dual adapter kit for an accord, I would suggest contacting whoever it is that did the custom wiring in your vehicle.

Yeah the VSS is not wired up correctly. Would that be the cause of the "knocks"?
