kpro cold cranking with d17

Hello I have had problems with cold cranking with the d17 for the last three years now. When I leave my car outside and it gets down below freezing my car will not crank. My friends k20 with kpro cranks with without any issues at all all the time no matter the weather conditions. Is there anything I can do to to prevent this?

If you are saying that it does not crank at all then it sounds more like a battery, wiring or starter problem.

it only happens when it gets below freezing. Any other days and the rest of the year its fine. I think its something with the software because other d17 kpro users have this same identical problem.
