B20 turbo won't past 8k

Post by V-Spec race development »

Hello hondata and fellow users, I have a b20 turbo setup and I'm puzzled why I can't rev it past 8000 rpm even though I raised the rev limiter past that i.e 9000 rpm. The primary tables are set all the way to 9000 rpm but can't even get there. Obviously it's not a vtec motor so I assume that I only use the primary tables for the fuel and ignition am I right? or do I need to switch to secondary tables or what. Please help thank you in advance.

I won't be able to post the calibration at the moment I'm away from my laptop. What do you need to know on the calibration, I may be able to tell you what you're looking for thank you.

You have lean protection turned on, and it is probably to sensitive or not set in a maner that can work well. You should be able to look at the datalogs and calibrations and see this.
