Reprogram S2000 tachometer

Hi,

Just want confirmation on this.

Can the 2006+ S2000 tachometer be reprogrammed. I'm shifting at 9k and with the stock one is difficult because all i see is the red light blinking.

Want to k now this before i invest on a shift light system.

Note that we know of. In any case the ECU does not control the dash shift light.
