PLX not reading on S300

Post by metalmanwrx »

I have a PLX wide band that will not read in my smanager
Please Help

I have a 92 civic si with a p28 stock wiring .
I have had this plx wide band reading air fuel in s300.
now it is not reading on the eld input. I have checked the Plx Unit and the voltage is correct to the ecu. the narrow band out put is reading in hondata. I have looked over the settings and have found nothing.
The unit is wired up correctly.
Is there a way to check the input after it enters the ecu?
Is there some setting I'm missing that has changed in smanager since it was first installed? or is there another way to tap in the wide band signal?
I would like to use the eld input if I can get it to read.

Thank you

How much voltage do you have at D10?

Do you have a wideband guage? if so what it's the reading?

The wide band output on the plx device to the eld at start up was 2.52 and went up to 3.06 15.7 ish?
the narrow band out put to the computer is .43 volts or 14.5 ish
this is with a cold motor.

Have you always been using the D10 for wideband?

From factory the D10 wire coming out ofthe ECU should be green red.

It was set up on the D14 which is the 02 white/red.
It has been reinstalled on the ELD and it now reads in the overlay but the air fuel ration doesn't read correctly in the display under AF. It reads 1.05
The AFR in the sensor overlay reads in the hi 15. this is not possible.
The PLX AFR Has been sent back to PLX 3 weeks ago they checked it out and sent me another control box. the out put voltage is about the same.

Here is a new datalog with the ELD input.
How can I correct the ARF to read in the AF display correctly and the overlay ?

Thank you so much for your help.
I really appreciate it.

Taken for Hondata s300 help file

Note that if the ELD input (D10) is used then R136 and R138 (US ECUs) may need to be removed.

Also make sure you have the settings all set to read in AF and not in lambda.

Optiosn, Settings, Units

Double click on AF in the sensor list
