download calibrations

Post by llms07 »

I got my car tuned boost by gear and I have 19 psi during first gear and I wanted to lower it to 10 psi. I dont have my map saved on my smanager since i forgot to get it from the tuner. I noticed that when i download a map from the ecu to my smanager, it always prompts you and states" Check all calibrations for accuracy" does that mean that if i download my map to my smanager it might be off? and if i want to lower the boost on first gear, is it just as easy to go into parameters and boost control and lower all boost psi for all rpms off first gear? Thanks for the help

Yes it gives you that warning becuase you may corrupt your calibration. That is how you make changes.

So how can I be sure when I download the map that nothing is corrupted? Am I just taking the chance?
