93 accord f22 a6 sohc questions

Post by ivarcj »

hi guys i hope i can get some things straightened out for my accord as this has been a 4 yr project and im seeing the light at the end of the tunnel "i hope" :? ok i have several questions regaurding my f22a6 and ive searched up and down the forum and havent found much info so ill get right 2 it.... ok
(1st) I had the s200 and upgraded to the s300 and cant seem to figure out anywhere to plug in the shift light plug that came with my s200. Is there something i can do with it?
(2nd) What about the clutch sensor wire? anywhere for that to go or is it obsolete as well?
(3rd) I'm running 440 injectors also and i saw something from a WAY earlier post about needing to unplug the resistor box. do i need to unplug mine or is that just for higher impedance injectors such as in the 700 range?
(4th) i wont be running more than 20lbs of boost so i was told i could use a 3bar map sensor and they are cheaper than 4 bar sensors , except that 4 bars are made plug and play and 3 bars require some wiring... my map sensor is on the firewall and looks like the k series/ s2000 model with one screw attachment everything i see at omni shows the rounder sensor with 2 screw attachment and shows 94 accord and up.... can i use the rounder one and will it plug directly? or do i go with the k series that looks like a closer fitment ?
(5th) OK LAST BUT NOT LEAST.... i was also told i need a wide band o2 sensor at least for putting the first tune then i can use my stock and something about" the s300" then bypasses the o2 sensor all together.. so if this is true then FOR my year accord what inexpensive o2 sensor can u recommend that i get for tuning that will be a direct fit to my stock o2 sensor? SORRY in advance for the long drawn out novel if i should break these questions up into several posts ill gladly do that as well just let me know... seems not many ppl have done this engine mod.. is there a BAD reason WHY they DONT? the f22A6 seems to be a tolerant engine.. THANKS IN ADVANCE for your time and patience guys...... Chris

There is no shift light plug. You just set the shift light point and it will illuminate teh CEL.

You no longer need the aftermarket clutch switch as you can use the stock cruise control clutch switch and just wire it into one of the listed inputs on the ECU.

You must use a resistor box when using low impedance injectors. High impedance or saturated injectors do not need a resistor box.

A plug and play Hondata 4 bar map sensor is only $99 and has a lifetime warranty. The map sensor should be located on the throttle body.

We recommend any of the PLX Devices brand widebands. http://www.hondata.com/techplxwiring.html

DANG MAN.! what a quick reply.. Much Appreciated a couple more things though... so are my 440 dsm injectors high impedance? and the other one is that im running a stock throttle body and my book says that whats connected to it is actually a throttle position sensor and under the box on the pass side firewall has a map sensor that is square"ish" and says Denso and the part number is TN079800-2550 then below it says 5v ps-20 ... any ideas on what i do there? . oh also so is what i heard about the o2 sensor correct or should i just go ahead and get the wideband 02 ALL together? hmm reading from the link you gave me it says some ecu's need to remove the resistors R136 and R138 .. is this the case for my p28 ecu? :(
