k-pro ecu swap

i sold my ecu with the hondata k pro chip in it, the kis who bought it wasnt to switch the chip over to his ecu so that he can keep the lockout feature. will he be able to remove the chip from my ecu and put it in his?

KPro is not a chip - it is a board added to the ECU. It is not easily swapped to another ECU. If by 'lockout' you mean 'immobilizer', then what your friend needs to do is get the immobilizer re-keyed to their new ECU. http://hondata.com/immobilizer.html
