Launch control problem

Hi guys I have a little problem with my Hondata s300 before my launch control Would engage like its suppose to but like two weeks ago I notice that I was hitting the launch control rev limit to fast. At first when I tried the launch control it was engaging normal hitting the launch control rev limiter slower. I don't know if any is wrong because I dont get a MIL light. Oh I forgot to mention that's I change my fuel pump I have an 89 EF hatch and I installed a 96 Gsr pump maybe I'm getting a little more fuel?! I'm not sure
