Post by B20vtec-turbo »

I'm having trouble finding a basemap for my setup, anyone wanna help?
I just got my s300 in the mail today and had a dyno shop send me a basemap but the car wouldnt idle.

B20b with a b16 head all stock internals
aem fuel rail with 550cc RC injectors
T3T4 Revhard turbo
stock map sensor

Also I done alittle datalogging, take a look and help me if you can. I'm a complete noob at this...maybe you can tell me what all of this means!

Here's another Data log, just so you can see what it's doing. I have to keep my foot on the gas to keep it from dying. I plan on taking it to get a tune from a dyno shop, but I want to make sure this is a tuning issue rather than a bad harness or whatever. I have two codes coming up IAT and IAC, I unplugged the wire going to the air temp and plugged it in on the Idle control but still got the code. I would hate to pay money for a dyno and find out it didn't just need a tune, but a new harness. Please, any help you can offer would be appreciated.

OBD2 Car/engine harness?

Are injectors low impedence? Had to wire up resistor box?

If answer to all of those is yes, then check the wiring to the resistor box.

I had some issues with my IAC when I had an open in the resistor box circuit. Just an idea to try...

Everything is OBD1, but yes I did have to wire in a resistor box for my injectors. Its just all four injector wires tie into wire then plug into any one of the black wires on the resistor box, then the red wire plugs into all four of the injector wires coming from the ecu, right? that pictures is just something I found online, I dunno what the "clip" is but mine is basically like that....
