According to Hondata's S300 Programmable ECU Guide under Boost Control Solenoid Installation it states: "The suppression diode should be installed close to the boost control solenoid with the diode anode (stripe end) wired to the +12V supply, and the cathode wired to the wire from the ECU A11 pin." However, the stripe end of a diode indicates the cathode and NOT the anode. Is this a typo and should the diode stripe side (cathode) still be wired to the +12V side?

This reply doesn't make a bit of sense. What possible value am I suppose to get from this???? I didn't mention anything about a part number, so please help me out here.
Yes I saw this diagram but it contradicts the statement I put in quotes on my first post. So I'm assuming it's a typo in the manual? Also, do you know where I can download the S300 manual in .pdf format from? It seems to be only available via a web browser.
Thankyou, your link is correct...which is the message I've been trying to convey this entire time. If you scroll to the bottom of my link you will see it lists the anode as the stripe end instead of the cathode. I think it needs to be corrected to avoid confusion. Inaccurate information can cause a lot more harm than good if you know what I mean.
I am having odd behavior with the boost solenoid as well. So is the correct wiring to have the striped end of the diode connected to the +12v or the ECU?

Yes, from what I have gathered that is correct...even though the wiring diagram contradicts the written statement.
