2009 Honda Civic Si FA5 USDM
ECU RRB-A14
Injen CAI
Purchased Hondata Flash Pro from Corsport mid to late October.
Running on FlashPro Manager 1.1.6.7
Windows 7 Enterprise x64
For the past month or so, I have been running trying out several tune and configuration all based on the preloaded tunes that come with the manager. I have mostly based the configuration off the MAP "Civic-SI-Race-6-InjenCAI". The Flashpro has been working great as I was make changes and record datalogs.
About a week ago, I reverted the car's ECU to stock from the "Return ECU to Stock" option and ran some datalogs to compare configuration. I did not unlock the device and left it locked to my car. I ran the car with the stock ECU for a while. On the night of 24.Nov, I flashed my ECU to and new configuration off of the MAP "Civic-SI-Race-6-InjenCAI". The flash completed and I was able to run datalogs. Shortly after, I made a change to the launch limited lowering it by 1000. The configuration uploaded successfully. However, the manager popped up a message that my Flashpro needs to update the firmware. At this point, I have no internet access to my notebook. I let it run the update and it finished. But the message popped up again and I let it run. This happened about 3 time before I decide not to let the manager continue the loop by closing the manager and unpluging the USB before the firmware update would start. Then I notice the care started to flash a code on the LCD I didn't note it down and just power cycled the car and the error message did not reappear. All the configuration i uploaded before were working. I check the Flashpro and all the lights were off. I check the flashpro's connect to the car and to the computer and the light continued to stay off. I restarted the computer and powered cycled the car with no avail.
I check the USB ports on the computer and they are good. The cable is good. The OBD2 on the car is tested good via OBD2 error code tester.
Windows no longer detects the flashpro.
Please assist.
