When enabling closed loop after tuning in open loop....

Post by 92sihbk »

After I am finished tuning, I go to re-enable closed loop and when I do my air fuel ratio jumps everywhere. I've got it tuned to a pretty consistent 14.7 up to column 5 but as soon as I turn the stock narrowband back on the air fuel ratio jumps anywhere from 13.7 to 16.0.

Is there something Im missing, maybe some tweaking/adjustments I can make that will resolve this issue?

It almost seems as though the stock O2 sensor is "over correcting" itself if that makes any sense!

Thanks!!

Just guessing, dont know for sure...play around with the O2 volts close loop...try something higher say 0.6v and see what happens...

tried your suggestion with no luck.

Anyone else ever run into this or does everyone just tune and never enable to stock narrowband sensor again?

Thanks!

after searching around this forum some more, I found my answer and am pleased to say no more problem!!

I had to play with the " Rate of Change " values under the closed loop tab.
