just wondering if hondata can idle-up when air-con is switched on using secondary table/nitrous aux?
if so, could someone be so kind as to walk me through how to do it? my idle drops a tad (150 rpm) with air-con on....
idle-up when/with air-con on - secondary table?
ACSW
See the log at 9min 17 sec, ACSW turns on, STRIM stays at 0%
Any hints as to what/how to adjust?
BTW the stock condensor fan relay burned out; the new custom relay is wired direct to battery +ve (i.e. the ELD doesnt see it - IACV not compensating?

Much Better
Tuned the O2/STRIM; the idle-up with air-con and without air-con is MUCH BETTER. now.
I was playing around with the slow & fast rate of change of the STRIM....with high cams and light flywheel, what is way to go? (besides decel fuel cut receovery rpm :-D)
Besides minimizing the swings in the STRIM, what else should you look for?
Is a lower or higher "normal" STRIM rate better?
When does the "fast" STRIM kick in? Is there a break point in the O2 volts that triggers the "fast" STRIM?
When would you play around with the difference between slow and fast STRIM rates of change?
Lets say you use a target O2 voltage of say 0.6v versus 0.51v - what would one expect to see in terms of STRIM datalogs; when would you play around with parameter;
What are the strategies for tuning ignition timing in the idle area?

The fast and slow closed loop rate of change can be seen here:

The fast rate is the initial large jump to counter the o2 sensor hysteresis.
The goal of changing the fast and slow rate of changes is to get the most number of rich/lean swings per second and also minimize the short term fuel trim minimum / maximum swing.

Package Adjustments
Hondata - Was reading some general stuff on OBD2. It said that when ACSW goes on, the ECU would bump up INJ and Timing, BEFORE the IACV (high duty cycle) kicks in - Is is how S300/Smgt works?Hondata wrote:Look for the cause, not symptoms. Your closed loop operation is very poor - there is a short term fuel trim of between -25% and -30% for much of the time. Tune the fuel and get the closed loop operation to behave better before looking at the AC operation.

So, after optimising the fuel and ign tune (o2 swing around 0.51v etc) adn ACSW goes on, are we saying that STRIM should not "max" out? i.e. if if the upper limit of the STRIM is +30%, the datalog should not go above that value when ACSW goes on. Appreciate if you can enlighten.
Appreciate if next :-) version of Smgr/S300 can expose the specific package of adjustments to the IAC valve, PW, and ignition timing for each load event signal.
Air Conditioning Switch
Brake Light Switch
Clutch Switch
Electrical Load Detector (ELD) Sensor
Power Steering Pressure (PSP) Switch
Need to tune this for the specific mechanical package (light flywheel etc) of the car. Need a bigger kick for my ACSW/ACCL
I have datalogged and the ECU show ACSW on/off, so it is getting the signal
