1N4004 and Hondata Boost Controller

Hi,

Quick question

I own an EP3 with RevHard turbo kit

Bought a Hondata Boost Solenoid .

Do I need to connect the diode 1N4004 ?

Yes, follow the instructions that came with the solenoid.

follow the instructions in the help file then. You have an older set of instructions.

The diode gets wired in parallel with the solenoid, with the banded end toward the +12V... getting it wrong means smoking the driver in the ECU.
