Which Ecu? Modded H22a

Post by Matt H22Lude »

Hi,
I have an S200 unit which I am planning to use to tune my prelude, and although I have had a quick look through the info on here I am still appreciate some advice as to which ECU would be best to mount it on.
It is a 94 Si Vtec BB4 with the h22a engine.
I have already fitted a cold air induction filter, and a stainless manifold and exhaust system with a decat. I am in the process of converting an ATR intake manifold (single runners) to which I will be fitting Acura RSX injectors (410cc). As the BB4 prelude benefits from a loophole in the omissions regulations in the UK, I will also be removing the EGR system.

I figure it would would best to get hold of a P28, unless my p13 can be configured to run without the IAB system with the s200?

Any advice warmly welcomed :)

To use a Hondata system, you will need to use a compatible OBD1 ecu from the list at http://www.hondata.com/ecus.html . You can then use the Hondata s100 or s300 depending on what options you want ( http://www.hondata.com/sproducts.html ). I would recommend the s300. The s200 has been discontinued now for nearly 3 years. You will have a much easier time tune and have a better experience using the s300 instead. There is an upgrade program: http://www.hondata.com/s300upgradeform.html
