Adjustment to target closed loop lambda at idle

Just wondering why there is no adjustment to the air fuel ratio in closed loop at idle?

I've been hearing different tuners say 13.6 to 14.0 is ideal or are they mistaken?

And just wondering what is in the works for the next release and when that may be.
