Shift light problem - solved

Post by retroid »

I have a PRA ECU, KPro on K20A2 european Honda. I`m running the factory K20A2 calibration for now due to the stock engine.

I also have a PLX wideband connected to the ELD pin 15 with cut wire to ELD.

I soon mounted a shift light which is conected at ECU E connector pin no.26 , engine speed pulse, blue wire.

http://www.caraddiction.co.uk/sld5.htm

After connecting the shift light my revcounter stop working.....if I unplug the shift light wire from pin 26 the revcounter starts again...

al the wires are soldered so no connection problems.

(the power for shift light is cig lighter and ground to chassis)

Until now I checked everything but I didn`t find the problem.

Could this be related with Kpro? I mean some parameters changes like ELD disabled etc.

many many thanks

This has nothing to do with the K-Pro. This would be a problem with the shiftlight.
