What is the quantum or rate of delta in TPS V, for the ignition compensation parameters to kick in?
I did a quick calculation ignition retard in 4th gear when the tps goes from 0-30% is 4-7 degrees retard for 10 msecs - does that sound right?
Assuming crusie at 3,500 rpm and load point 4, timing is 42 degree, if the trottle is dabbed, timing is reduced to 38 degree for 10 msecs
Pleease share your experience in tuning is....what difference does it make?
Do you tune out detonation or do you tune for throttle response?
What the theeory as to why no ignition tip-in compensation for the 1st 3 gears....tuners please chime in.
