autometer wideband hook up?

I have an Autometer Wideband A/F monitor with datalogger outputs and want to make sure i get it wired in correctly. Im using the s300 system on a p28 ecu. The voltage siginal provided is a linear 0-4v. The part im not sure about is there are two wires for datalogging, one is + and the other is -. Can i use the + wire for my b6 input or am i SOL. Thanks

You can try it, but it may not work. YOu may also have to ground the other wire (signal ground).

I was researching and found that the stock o2 sensor inputs are replaced with the wideband inputs and a resistor is installed in place of the heater wires in some applications, is that a prefered method of connecting the wideband?

We recommend the PLX wideband and it can easily be used as a wideband and a narrowband at the same time to run closed loop, or you can now run closed loop from the wideband signal only.
