b16a2 with S100

Im planning to get hondata S100 on my 2000 Civic Si b16a2 and Im a little confused... Is the S100 A chip that is installed in my stock ECU? I believe I have OBD2...Do I need to convert to OBD1??? let me know thanks

You need to convert to OBD-1. S100 and S200 are both interface boxes that attach to your stock ECU. There is a ROM chip installed inside the ECU also.

Only the S200 has an interface box. The S100 is all within the ECU. An OBD1 conversion is mandatory as stated above.
