Uk EP3 Civic Type R with PRB US Kpro.

Post by rob2006 »

Hey folks,

I've just bought a US spec PRB Kpro for my UK type R civic.

I've read this page from the hondata web site http://www.hondata.com/techk20-ctr-o2wiring.html but i am unclear on the WB02 that i need to use.

Do i have to use the honda WB02 sensor as i alread have an Innovate LM-1

To be able to use all the functions of the wideband you must use a factory RSX wideband. If you only want to be albe to log the AF ratio, then you cna use an aftermarket wideband input to the ELD.

This is confusing as your reply suggests i can use the stock narrowband sensor and i only need the wideband if i want extra functions.

I was under the impression that you have to use a wideband with this ecu and hence i wanted to know if my bosh sensor that comes with the innovate lm-1 is suitable instead off buying another sensor.

To run in closed loop you must use a factory wideband.
