K Pro Problem

Hey guys I'm having a k pro issue. When I plug up my k pro to my 93 civic the car doesn't turn on but my lights in my cluster stay on. Even with the key out of the ignition. I have to unplug the plug and play harness just to turn of the lights in the cluster. Second problem is we tried plugging the k pro to a laptop to see if the immoblizer was taken off if I'm correct if that's what's suppose to b done but the ecu won't allow the computer to open the k pro up. My mechanic thinks my k pro is fried key word THINKS. Any ideas what can b wrong I really need help I don't want to buy a new one. Mind u guys it's brand new the k pro

YOu have a wiring problem if the dash lights will not turn off without unplugging something. Contact whoever did the wiring for the vehicle and have them help you troubleshoot that first.

Try the ECU in a known good vehicle as there is probably nothign wrong with it. The Software will only connect and allow you to upload to it if it is in a car and the ignition is turned to the on position. You cannot do anything outside of the vehicle.

Thanks for replying back. I also forgot to mention when I put my mans k pro in my car my car turns on with no problem. I just got my whole interior harness done at a shop and they said all my wirining is correct and the engine harness is on correct. I'll see about plugging it into another car
