does the stock knock sensor work with k-pro

Post by shwoogie420 »

hello,
i have an 02 civic d17a2 fully built k-pro version 1.3.7.0 . while doing some pulls i noticed that my knock count and knock threshold are no where near each other which is good b/c there is no knock. what i want to know is does k-pro resgister the knock with the stock sensor or is there an aftermarket one i have to buy

When we created the base calibrations we had to disable the knock sensor as it would give error codes since the knock sensor was not for the ECU being used.

borrow a friend's knock sensor off his motor if you think yours is malfunctioning.

15/16th deep socket to get it off.
