another NooB with comparison question

Post by firetyrant »

Alrighty, I know I'm on a hondata site and I will prolly get some bias answers. But I wanted to know why I should go with hondata say over eCtune, Neptune, uberdata, or AEM for my 5thgen prelude. I'm doing my research now and getting everything I need to know answered before I decide to purchase anything. I'm looking for detailed answers for this because I wanna make an informed decision.

Of course our products are much better than any others. I would suggest contacting a tuner in your area with a good reputation, and discussion the pros and cons of the different systems with them.

I agree here.

Also I'd add talk to your tuner and see which EMS he is familiar with. See how many cars with this EMS he's tuned.

You don't want to buy an EMS that your tuner needs to 'learn' on your time. A tuner needs to know the EMS and be able to make adjustments rather quickly in case something is heading the wrong way (fuel and/or spark).
