hi.
you write in the contents:
Do not set the VTEC switch point too high as the high speed rocker arm will float on the lost motion spring and damage the valve train. As a guide do not set the VTEC point higher than 6500 rpm.
so isn´t it better to set the minimum throttle to 0%? otherwise when i get off my pedal @ 9000 rpms, i have this problem too!
the same is, when driving a bend with less throttle @ higher rpms.
vtec minimum throttle
what is the correct answer now? spunkster says, its a bad idea to set to 0, why? and the second answer??? when i drive with part throttle at high rpm while cornering, it cannot switch to the vtec cam. its a bit confusing. when it is set for example to 50%, it goes to 9000 rpms without vtec! and how should it stay on vtec when i lift my leg?
hmmm, seems that just dragracers use the s300. spunkster, can you please tell me, why it is so bad? or someone else?
we have a race track here, where you drive with 240 km/h up to a bend. you should not drive this with fully opened throttle. but driving with 8000 rpms on the low cam makes problems with the map! what solutions does other tuners have for this?
