HELP! Check engine: Daughter board communication error

Post by godro3030 »

Hi, i have a intermitent problem, sometimes i start my EK with k20z1 and chek engine light go on, error code: Daughter board communication error (battery voltage low when cranking). sometime when i try to start, it wont, its just make a noise like ''Tic, tic, tic'' and finnaly start normaly. I have change the battery and the starter, and problem still the same... same ''tic, tic''... and same chek engine even when the car seems to start normaly without the ''tic, tic'' noise. i have chek the voltage at the battery and at the starter.. everything ok.. but still have a daughter board communication error (battery voltage low when cranking).
I NEED HELP

sorry for my bad english..

thanks

The battery voltage is too low when cranking, that is why the main relay is clicking and you are getting this error. Use a multimeter to check the voltage at teh ECU when cranking.
