kpro knocks?

Post by chickeneg »

hello all firstly im a new kpro user with no experience at all with any type of tuning for any cars...just a new honda hobbyist trying to learn any help would b appreciated !

car is 03 rsx type S , installed a jdm k20a motor running stock PRC ecu , CAI, stock PRC header and CAT with mugen twinloop a few months ago... car runs fine....however i recently installed a PRB Hondata Kpro , ran the k20a2 with ITR cams, header, cold air intake calibration file and noticed a clicking sound rattling sound coming from motor .... knock? injectors? sounded pretty loud ...... put back stock PRC ecu and car running quiet again and normal..... must b kpro calibration??.... installed kpro again and ran ITR with TODA header, injen intake and mugen twinloop calibration.... went for a test run and notice car wasnt clicking or rattling as much but still a little bit but alot better....did a datalog run from 2000rpm to 8000rpm, looked at conrads find knock faq and tried to find knocks but noticed no increase in knocks on graph and im stuck and lost on where to go from here .....ive included my testrun datalog any help would b appreciated

the clicking and rattling sound wasnt always heard just for a rpm or 2 throughout the gears the sound coming from my motor hurts me please help

your a/f is too rich.

Adjust to:

0 -5000rpm 13.2-13.4 a/f
5000-8600rpm 12.7-13.00 a/f

then make a new log...
