hooking up fan control integra s300

Post by ripperj »

This info may be posted but I didnt see it when searching. On an 01 and maybe other year integras, fan control doesnt work automatically with the s300. The easiest way I think to hook it up is to look on plug A of your obd2b harness and youll see a solid green in A20 that leads into the engine bay, pop out the white piece on the side of the plug and slide out the green wire and move it to the empty spot next to it (A21 I think). Youll see your obd1 converter harness has a wire that will now go to Pin A12 on your obd1 ecu which is the fanc output for the S300 ecu. I used a ohm meter to make sure the wires were correct berfore turning the car on.

On a 94-01 Integra you should not have to change any wiring for fan control to work....this is assuming no one has messed with the wiring previously.
