Map locked?

Post by Vtec6000 »

Can anyone tell me what error message you get if you try upload map off a ecu which has been "set security"?

Can't remember 100% what the message was but it said something like access violation of some module, it would read almost to the end then stop and a window would pop up saying the above. Is that the map locked?

If you're trying to download from the ECU close all windows in KManager.

Yeah I had nothing open man, just launched kmanager and tried uploading. Does anyone know the exact message which appears if you try upload map from a ecu which has had security set? Also the s300 lead is same as kpro lead correct?

Post the calibration you are attempting to upload. What happens if you click on New Calibration and upload one of the calibrations there?

IF it will not work, then your only option is to upload a new calibration to the ECU instead and overwrite whatever is in there.
