2005 European Honda Accord/ Acura TSX reflash
2005 European Honda Accord/ Acura TSX reflash
I have 2005 European Honda Accord which is sold in US as Acura TSX. Its an automatic transmission, however when I pulled the ECU, the part number is RBB-E54. Notice the E54, which I assume stands for european version of the ECU. In europe, the car is rated at 190 hp, but in US its rated 200hp.
Is there a way to reflash this ECU? I know the RBB-A54 is supported, but thats an american version, and I am not sure if there are any significant differences between the american ECU and the european one.
Can anyone from Hondata answer this?
Thanks!

swap 04 ECU into 05 ?
Hondata wrote:The ECU is similar, but not the same, as the US version. We're not going to offer a reflash for that vehicle because of the high development cost to make a reflash.
Is it possible to reprogram an ECU from 04 TSX auto and put it into 05? Are they so much different?
Lets get back to this question .
I also have edm k24a3 accord and wanna use k-pro dual ecu with my car.
Is it possible to swap my native ecu with tsx ? What kind of issues can i have due to their difference ? Will my gauges, vsa, abs and others work fine ?
I think difference is not so essential to close ur eyes on european market at all. Just look at our forums on how much people wanna use hondata on their edm hondas but using biggybacks instead )

Ive called to our tuners and their customers and they said the next things - just buy tsx+rsx ecu, send to hondata for dual harness rebuilding and then just swap your euro ecu with this thing and everything is allright ))
Maybe u never have a euro ecu to compare but everyone tells that they r similar even their pinout . Everything works fine because the only difference accord-tsx is engine but engine management is switched to rsx ecu and tunable with kpro. Everything else work fine except immobi function cause noone want to send their keys so far, its easier to switch off this func at all. Ive read your instruction about changing immo with obd scan tool and think its possible to horror and punch our dealers to do so if needed ))

I have Accord CL9 (2007) i use TSX ECU par number 37820-RBB-A59, this work on K-Pro and RSX ECU Dual.hazuki wrote:I have also an EDM Accord (2003). Is it sure, that the TSX ECU works? Has anybody tried this?
When I want to keep the immobilizer then I need the key and immobilizer of the TSX ECU?

All work!!! CL9 auto. :D
I have a 2004 automatic k24a3. So if i want to run k-pro, i will need to use a TSX automatic ecu with another k-pro-able ecu to tune?
Does it matter which year tsx ecu i use? Do i need to use a 2004 tsx automatic ecu?
Lastly, so if i want to have the immoboliser working, i will need to swap mine with the corresponding tsx immoboliser?
thanks

K24A3 CL9
hello,
I'm writing this for my friend.
He has accord euro cl9 2006 year
He has comptech supercharger. To make is work, someone made aftermarket wires for him. It worked at first, but now he has some issue with jumping rpms
His question:
Is there 100% way to make this work with Hondata?
What TSX ECU he supposed to get? Does he has to send it to Hondata for reflash? and does he has to sedn his keys to reprogram remote?
Second thing, what's the exact model of the dual adapter for RSX he supposed to get?
thanks
