s300 stops logging if fan is on

I have a 01 gsr with a p06 chipped with s300. Weird stuff, first if i have data logging turned on or im just reading the sensors and the cooling fan kicks on all data logging freezes, no rpms, map or anything can be read untill the fan turns off then it resumes like normal. Also if the car is off and ignition on and i turn on data logging the vtec soloniod starts clicking like crazy, this only happens sometimes. The ecu occasionally goes into limp mode as well lowering the rev limit to 4k. Dont know if these problems are related but I would like to find a resolution to all this. I have fan overide disabled.

Remove, check and clean all engine grounds.

All the grounds were good, never figured it out. I enabled fan control from the Hondata and the problem doesn't happen. Its all happy now.
