Request: reflash or flashpro for honda fit 07-08
Request: reflash or flashpro for honda fit 07-08
dear hondata:
i know that a reflash is possible for the GD3 honda fit as you guys have already done a reflash for the kraftwerks supercharger kit.
i would like to ask for you guys to create if possible a reflash for us fit owners with intake header and exhaust to help out make the most of our mods. ( just like you guys did with the 06+ si)
there is already plenty of people interested on a product like this that would definately buy it if you guys offer it. thank you.

Honda Jazz 2009
Hi All
Would there be a flash available for the New Jazz (2009 version) That we can use. Please also advise what we can do regarding a better map on the Standard ECU the vehicle comes with. Any assistance will be much appreciated.
Thanks

development, costs, invests, base. these are the main aspects for introducing a new product.
how many of those 2 million jazz/fit owners want to tune their car? how many of them have the financial background to buy a flashpro and spend money for tuning? and how much potencial does the 1.2/1.4/1.5 engine have? something like the old D16?
the jazz was developed as a small city/family car, not a race car and as long as there isn't a plug'n'play swap kit for the K20, the jazz/fit will stay there and won't be tuned.
best regard Lukas

GE8 Fit FLASHPRO!!!
Please Hondata there are a good many of us very interested in a FlashPro for the GE8 Fit. I wish more people were more vocal in letting you know their interest, but until they are you may continue to look the other way.
My question is, if the R18 Civic has a FlashPro, why not even bother working with the GE8 Fit? Honestly I can't say the pin outs are the same between the ECU's but I would imagine they are very similar in nature. If I was stateside, I would volunteer my ECU to be looked into just to make this happen.
I've been an owner of KPro on my old 5R Integra and then later the AP2 Snisen and after having the ability to tune the vehicle, being stuck with stock just doesn't cut it. :)

I own the 2010 Fit Sport, with the i-VTEC and 5AT and I'm disappointed that Hondata has shifted all support to the K20 engine. I paid 17,000 for my car, I don't have an additional 2000-4000 to drop on a K24 or a K20 to swap in, nor do I want to. I think it would be a very novel idea for Hondata to release, at least, an ECU reflash for the L15A7. Although it's true, this engine may not be designed for high performance applications, it IS designed for great fuel economy. Tuning the ECU can be an effective method to this, just as much as it can yield satisfying performance results (My dad's coworker bought a brand new GMC Sierra Diesel 4WD, and sent the ECU off to be retuned and chipped, and it currently gets 22 MPG.) To me, it's disappointing to see that these ECU reflashes for the Fit are ONLY offered through the KraftWerks supercharger kit.
I would love to be able to tune parts of my Fit ECU, such as VTEC engagement, the rev limiter, the top speed limiter, among other parts of the ECU. I think to say there isn't a market for this is rather unfair, considering the Fit is one of the best selling hatchbacks right now. How can one say that there wouldn't be enough customer demand if a company never at least developed the product to try?
