Help!! Tps % value reading 112%

Post by Jdm90cb7 »

Ok I just got my Kpro today. Loaded a basemap, started right up. Let it warm up and it has a choppy idle. I noticed that my TPS% is at 112% without the throttle depresses and with it at WOT it goes to 113%. Anyone else have this problem?

:update:
with the tps sensor unplugged the tps% reads 0% and when you plug it in, it goes back up to 112%. maybe crossed wires? I did have to repair that plug, but the sensor is unharmed.

You either have a wiring problem, need to adjust your TPS, or have a bad TPS sensor. Have you tried calibrating it?

Yea I calibrated it. I figured it out today. I found a corroded terminal in the connector, turns out that it was the ground terminal so it was searching for ground through the signal line and giving the computer a WOT reading, all fixed now. Time for a tune. VTEC killer A3 style!!
